Players living to the south of Laurencekirk are eligible to play in the SEPF Region 2 Tour.

2009 Region 2 Tour Details
The start of a new season is once again upon us.
The first event this year will be a handicap series event which will take place on Sunday 1st March Roll call 12 noon for a 12:30pm start.
Here are all the dates for the handicap series:
  • Event 1 Sunday 1st March
  • Event 2 Sunday 26th April
  • Event 3 Sunday 17th May
  • Event 4 Sunday 30th August
  • Event 5 Sunday 4th October
  • Event 6 Sunday 6th December
The Region 2 Tour first Event will take place on Sunday 15th March.
This year there will be no qualifying events, players who turn up on the day will play down to 16 players and go into the main draw with the 16 seeded players.
Qualifiers must be at the venue (Styx) for 11:15am for 11:30am start.
The main event will start at 1pm.
Each player going to a qualifier will pay £5 and seeds will pay £25.

Seeded players fees will be £30 affilliation + £25 per tour event = £180 - If a full payment is made at 1st event the cost will be down to £150.

Qualifiers will pay £5 affilliation + £5 per tour event = £35 - If a full payment is made at 1st event the cost will be down to £25.

Date for all Tour Events:
  • Tour Event 1 Sunday 22nd March
  • Tour Event 2 Sunday 5th April
  • Tour Event 3 Sunday 10th May
  • Tour Event 4 Sunday 9th August
  • Tour Event 5 Sunday 6th September
  • Tour Event 6 Sunday 1st November
As an added incentive there will be an extra tournament near the end of the year with a £1000 prize fund.
Entry for this tournament will be £40, but free entry can be obtained through a points system.

Throughout the year tournaments played in will be worth points to you:
  • Tour Events will be worth 1 Point x 6 = 6 Points
  • Handicap Events will be worth 2 Points x 6 = 12 Points
  • Scottish Masters will be worth 3 Points
  • Scottish Singles will be worth 1 Point
  • Scottish Open will be worth 3 points
  • Fife Singles will be worth 1 point
  • Fife Masters will be worth 1 Point
A total of 27 points available for playing all events. Free entry is gained for £1000 event if you obtain 21 Points.
