The SEPF run regional and national tour events thoughout the year with something for everyone including Men, Ladies, U21s, Juniors (U18), Seniors (over 50s) and wheelchairs. Our national squad compete annually at the World Championships, European Championships and Home Internationals. In 2011 Scotland had the largest squad at the World Championships with 72 players across all categories.

The SEPF have four major annual competitions, the Scottish Open, Scottish Masters, Scottish Singles and the SEPF Scottish Interleague. The Scottish Interleague is an opportunity for all affiliated leagues to pit their top players against the best in the country in a 32 team event.

The SEPF is split into five regions each with a six event mens tour series. Most regions have Junior, U21, O40 or O50 tours but for those that don't, there's a national tour series for all categories of player. Tours are used to select the following year's International squad with players ranked depDarren Matthew - 3 x Junior World Championending on performance.

See the SEPF map for precise regional boundaries, however, broadly speaking, Region One covers the Nort East of the country and includes the Aberdeen and Fraserburgh Pool Leagues who between them have produced some of the best Scottish players of all time.

Region Two roughly covers the Fife area and again has produced some top quality players over the years. Region Three are the Borders region, running from coast to coast across the South of the country. Region Four encompasses the Moray Firth coastline and the Highlands. Region Five is our newest region and covers the West Coast and Islands.
