However Lynette Horsburgh (right) took Sue's title to win the World Ladies Singles in 2008 to add to the European Singles and Home Internationals Singles titles, she has previously won.

Darren Matthew (top left) from Aberdeen has been Scotlands most succesfull male player. He won 3 consecutive World Junior Singles titles from 2001 to 2003 and during the same period added 2 European Junior Singles titles and 1 Home Internationals Singles title to his collection.

Pat McCarron - Junior World Champion 2006 & Under 21 World Champion 2007
Pat McCarron (left), also from Aberdeen, followed in Darrens footsteps by claiming the World Junior Singles title in 2006.
