They faced a strong India side and won the match 11-7 to progress to the semi final.

Semi Finals
Northern Ireland 5 - 11 England
Wales 11 - 10 Ireland

In the first semi final top placed Northern Ireland from the group faced England.
They couldn't find their group form and England ran out 11-5 winners to reach the final.
The second semi final went down to the deciding frame between Wales and defending champions Ireland.
Wales won it to face England in the final.

Final
Wales 7 - 8 England

The final was extremely closely contested and was no surprise that it went to a final frame decider which England won to clinch the world team title.
